Tech or Treat 2021 Printed Materials

Tech or Treat is the annual Halloween tech event held by Birmingham startup hub Innovation Depot. Innovation Depot houses over 150+ startups, and every Halloween participating companies within the Depot set up a spooky display outside their office door where families and children from the Depot and the surrounding community can come to trick or treat, get candy, and learn about what the companies are up to. This past year, we wanted to highlight Fledging’s newest product, Spruce, a multi-port GaN charger. The challenge was combining fun, spooky graphics with a promotion for Spruce. Spruce can charge up to five devices at once, including your smartphone, so we chose messaging that showed how Spruce can help you recharge after a long night of trick or treating. I photoshopped images into a Halloween camera roll on an image of Spruce for the poster design. I then created a matching double sided postcard with the same design but reformatted for a different size printed material.
